About the artist
Hello, i am Susan ulmer dewolf, stained glass artist
.
my love for stained glass began as a child when each week i would marvel at the beautiful stained glass creations in the church i attended. i always wondered how the glass was made with all the different colors and textures and about the process involved in creating works of art. as i grew older my fascination with glass increased and i knew one day i would create a beautiful work of art for my home to be enjoyed every day.
driving home from work one day i saw a sign that simply said "stained glass". i decided to stop and as i approached the door a sign indicated lessons were available. i met the owner, Tony, and my stained glass artistic life began. tony's instruction, guidance, patiences and talent have allowed me to pursue my dream and become the artist i am today. i never grow tired of the creative process and all the beautiful glass colors and textures.
